There's nothing particularly special about this picture, at least to the casual viewer. But I love this shot because it reminds me of all the tiny fish swimming beneath the water's surface in their rocky pools.
Yes, the ocean is really that blue.
From this perspective, it appears to be a rocky shelf jetting out from the shore. But if you were to walk out onto it, you would find that it is full of pools with tiny fish swimming in them!
For those of you interested in ABC's Lost, just above this rock is where you would find the remnants of a very large statue (well, not in real life, but definitely in the show!)
It's a shame this shot had to be crooked, but I love the blue in the water and sky!
Experimenting with the close-up features of my camera. It may not look like it, but the sand at this beach is very soft and nice to walk on.
Too bad there had to be so many footprints in the sand on this picture. But it was fun seeing the children run in and out of the waves. :)
I love simplicity.
My husband says that, as a photographer, I need to be willing to take risks. Well, I did on this one because I almost got the camera wet several times. But I finally managed to freeze time in this shot.
